Dr. Nourian is a great dentist with very poor business skills. When I first started as her patient, she handled even routine cleanings herself. As her practice has expanded, she is mostly absent from the office, and the concerns brought up by the competent hygienist at my last cleaning about a potential problem were ignored (since I did not receive the promised follow-up from the dentist and I felt no pain myself) until the molar in question cracked during Christmas dinner. Dr. Nourian did the repair herself the next week, and was gentle as ever, but this incident may have been prevented if she had followed up on the photos taken by the hygienist (since there were no dentists in the office at the time of my last cleaning to offer an opinion)
Also, her office seems incapable of dealing with the insurance companies and expects her patients to take up the slack, instead.
