I would travel any distance necessary in order to see dr. to. he is the consummate professional. his office staff is friendly and helpful. his office is immaculate and pleasant. he is an expert and a perfectionist.

After years of searching for a trust-worthy and caring dentist in Northern Virginia, I was fortunate to find Dr. To on Yelp- and at the time, he was accepting new patients. I have had multiple experiences of dentist citing cavities that did not need drilling, in an effort to make money.
Compassionate, gentle, kind, thorough, genuinely interested in his patients... all these comments are true. Dr. To is just wonderful (as is his staff). I am terrified of dentists and for various reasons hadn't had a checkup/cleaning in several years (job changes, moves, etc.... all excuses, I guess, to AVOID DENTISTS, plus the plan I picked last year had scary dentists on it if Yelp is to be believed). Dr. To does his own cleanings (!), did a head/neck exam... I felt like a real patient, not just another appointment. As others have noted, no lectures, no scary stuff, no guilting. Do I floss? Um, not enough. He just noted during his cleaning that flossing would now be "easier" (after 3 years of plaque were gently removed).
Dr. To cares about his patients which is evident in his body of work. What other dentist personally cleans his patients teeth, and explains to them what and why he does things? Most are simply looking to bill their clients respective insurance companies- in the end, dentist are paid for the service and rely on less-qualified Dental Hygienist. They come in, say hi, and send you on your merry way.
I am very grateful I found Dr. To, and highly recommend him to anybody looking for high-quality dental care. His review/stars are commissary with his level of service.

It's so nice to find a dentist that not only does simply outstanding work but is also a good guy. Plus, his office staff and particularly Trisha, are the best you could ever want. Dr. To has performed a root canal and filled three teeth for me so far and it's been a great experience. He takes his time and doesn't rush from patient to patient. He explains everything in detail. He will estimate future costs and work with you to get it all done as efficiently as possible.
He's a smart guy with a great education that obviously cares about his patients. If you are looking for a dentist there are none better than Dr. To.

This is by far the best experience I have had at the dentist. Dr. To is truly amazing. I had a complete transformation with my smile. After experiencing this, there is no better dentist.
My initial examination was thorough. Dr. To discussed with me my entire situation and plan of attack to getting my mouth healthy. This man made sure I understood every word. We scheduled out about four appoints over the course of the month. As I was walking to the front, to actually schedule the darn thing, he tells the receptionist that before I left I need to know exactly what my insurance covered, and what was going to be the cost for me. I left there with a complete understanding of everything, procedures and insurance. That made me feel amazing and confident.
After experiencing a deep cleaning, three fillings, a teeth whitening and will have a crown put in. I can proudly tell you Dr. To is amazing. He offers an extremely personalized dental experience. A dentist that actually talks to you and gets to know you. If you need dental care please take your business to Chantilly Family & Cosmetic Dentistry.
