We just moved to Texas from Illinois two months ago. I found Dr Briggs through my dental insurance. I am so pleased! Both my boys had their four impacted wisdom teeth pulled at the same time frame. The office staff is excellent. The Dr even called to check on them that evening. I could not be more pleased.

Negotiated a price, gave me a written quote $950.75 for extraction of my daughter's wisdom teeth. On the day of surgery upped the price. Refused to honor their written price. Kept my daughter waiting, in the treatment room, for over 30 minutes while the office manager argued the price and offered a payment plan for ...
the additional charge. My daughter has anxiety disorder, Dr Briggs knew this, and kept my daughter waiting until I finally relented and paid the addition $300+ dollars.
Bait and switch and unethical business tactics. Questionable allegiance to her Hippocratic oath (First do no harm). Brought the price issue to Dr Briggs attention, she told me if she charged me the amount of the written price she would be committing "insurance fraud". I called our insurance company and they said that was not the case. Sent Dr Briggs a letter informing her that she could charge anything she wanted as long as it was not "greater" than the insurance rate....discounts do not amount to fraud. Besides, I was not seeking a discount, but rather that the doctor honor her written quote to me.

Got dental implants done there, very informative, explain all the questions asked and also brought out concerns I didn't even think about. She also talked about cost which most doctors usually never do themselves, and recommended other things that were just as good but less expensive. They were really good with checking up after the procedure was done and office was very helpful. They worked really hard to work with my insurance which wasn't willing but they were presistant and got the insurance to pay! Staff was friendly and very perfessional and spoke more than one language. I would totally recommend Dr. Briggs to anyone, love there office which felt very homey.
