Starting from a minor tooth filling without even using a numb shot, then pain and couldn’t eat, went back, re-did the filling, even worse, backed again, then was told the tooth they worked on was cracked, was asked to do crown and possible root canal, all for a tooth never had a problem before! Moreover, the doctor and her assistant were chit-chatting all the time when working on my tooth. Completely incompetent and unethical!

II did teeth cleaning twice a year regularly and had been aware that the Doctor always suggested small fillings here and there. I usually ignored it since I don’t have any problems with my teeth. In the last cleaning, I was again suggested to do two small fillings. I thought why not, as the insurance pays. The doctor did the drilling/cleaning and her assistant did filling. They were chit-chatting all the time when working on my teeth. After filling, I immediately felt pain in my right tooth and couldn’t eat, which never happened before. The pain remains and I went back in a few weeks, took X-ray and was told they need to re-do the filling. Ok, re-did it and again chit-chatting like high school girls during the process. The refilling didn’t work and the pain is getting worse. Went back again. This time, after X-ray and some additional images, I was shown large cracks in the middle of my tooth. Now she told me I need to get a temporary crown, then crown, and then possible root canal if the crown won’t work. They then threw me a statement of more $600 for the first crown process. They called in the next day to push for a crown schedule. My wife picked the phone and asked how all this happened. They responded that the cavity was big and they told me beforehand the possibility of tooth fracture after filling. This is totally BS! The truth is that they told me the fillings are so minor and we didn’t even use a numb shot when doing the first time filling.

Dr. Nechvatal-Uhelski and her staff made the transition from Dr. Busdiecker great. She did a great job on my front teeth. I was very self conscious of my looks until I had 3 front teeth crowned. She did a wonderful job. The staff is still the same and can't say enough about them and Dr. LANU. My son was not very comfortable going to the dentist but after his first visit with Dr. LANU he feels more comfortable and relaxed the second time back. I would recommend LANU Dental to my friends and family. Keep up the great work
About Hygienist: Karen was my hygenist and did a wonderful job like she always does. It was nice to see her explain to me the new dentist and the new type of dentistry she does. I had the feeling that she loves to do cosmetic dentistry. As Karen was telling me about how Dr. LANU is offering Botox and Dermal Fillers to patients. Keep up the great work Karen and the rest of the staff
