Teeth cleaned 3 times in 2 years; one cavity filled; "Treatment Plan" presented. Overall he seems very competent, but he and the hygienist really "push" more and expensive procedures. However when I declined the recommended expensive crown, he did fill the problem tooth.
Also, while waiting in the lobby, I heard him making recommendations for another patient. I got the impression that he is looking for the "big sale."
When I balked at the price, he reduced it.

About Hygienist: She never stops talking. She also pushed for a complete gum procedure, which was expensive, even though the problem was only around 2 teeth.

Great dentist in Sun City West! Dr. Chang and his staff took incredible care of myself and my teeth! Needing three filling and a crown, I was not looking forward to the expense or experience. However, Elegant Dentistry took very good care of me, my teeth and my budget. They have a great cash plan and that is important no having dental insurance. It's been a few weeks now and I am very happy with the results!
About Hygienist: His staff is very nice and helpful. They kept the room cool and made sure I was doing well throughout the procedure.

Dr. Chang recently took care of some dental issues I was having. I had broken my molar, pretty badly, on a wheat thin and it was really destroying the side of my tongue. He warned me that it was pretty bad and he would do what he could to save the tooth, but made no promises. Dr. Chang is really amazing! Not only did he save the tooth, I was in very little pain after working so close to the nerve. I was very impressed!
The ladies working in the office out front, as well as the dental assistants were all very pleasant. They made sure I was comfortable, turned on some light music and were all very nice.
Until Dr. Chang, I had only had one family Dentist for the last 20 years. However after moving across town to the Sun City West area, it was time to find a new closer dentist. If you live in the Sun City or Surprise areas of the West Valley and are looking for a new dentist, I sincerely recommend Dr. Chang at Elegant Dentistry!
