So if you want to get unnecessary dental work this is the practice for you. I strongly suggest that if you need cosmetic dentistry, go to a dentist that has a lab onsite, changes are difficult or not done at all. I was also told that I needed 7 cavities filled . I was pretty surprised due to this never being mentioned and only x rays of my front teeth had been done. I went for a second opinion and was told I had none! I have had 2 cleanings since with no fillings needed

I went in for routine fillings but experienced immense pain during the shots to numb my gums and teeth. I got a hematoma on the side of my face and have major bruising on my face after getting what should have been a simple, pain-free filling. I was given nothing to reduce the pain, swelling, or bruising and told it was "guaranteed it wouldn't happen again"... Dr. McConathy can not guarantee this and wants to proceed with a second round of fillings. I will be canceling that appointment and finding a new dentist.
