Read Reviews for Dr. Andrew Aiken
Not recommended! I would never go back to see Dr. Andrew Aiken. He extracted one of my molars. When he was pulling out part of it, one of his dental tools smashed against my upper teeth. After the extraction, I was very careful to follow the post-op instructions, but it became a dry socket that became infected. I went to see him again. He said "it's a dry socket". I asked for antibiotics. He refused knowing very well that dry sockets get easily infected due to bacteria and food debris. The infection spread into the bone in my jaw with signs of possible gangrene. He still refused to prescribe antibiotics! I had to go to my primary care physician who confirmed the tooth extraction site is very infected and prescribed strong antibiotics. Dr. Andrew Aiken was not at all helpful. He did not care and did not help heal the infection he created by a lack of care even though I had gone back to his office but he didn't clean out the hole or pack it or put in an antibacterial. I would not recommend him to anyone. I suspect the other positive reviews are fake.
