Pediatric dentist recommended dr walden for my 9 year olds root canal. He came into the room, I shook his hand. He starts looking at my child's teeth, and after about 3 minutes states he has to refer her. A little stunned I state I was referred to you I thought you could do this?? He gets defensive and states he is an endodontist, yes. I know, that this can be a traumatic experience, and she needs to see some one that treats children and sedate her. I then state ok I m still confused as to why I was referred here(this will be addressed with her pediatric dentist), he looks at me and say as well and walks out of the room, he was done with me!! I told the dental assistant I wasn't being disrespectful I was just confused and looking for answers. I had to pay $100 for this unprofessional service!! I read reviews prior to going I should have listened to these reviews. He may be an excellent endodontist but treating people with respect and empathy when you or your child has tooth pain due to an abstract tooth is also important to me. Ironic thing is he refers her for this traumatic experience but my daughter witnessed his unprofessional actions and now is hesitant to go yet to another dentist.
