I love Dr. Vu -- it’s as simple as that. He’s basically one-stop shopping which is rare nowadays. He’s knowledgable, does excellent work, and had a great personality which is an added bonus. And the overall office environment is wonderful. I have horrible teeth so I’m pretty particular about my dentists. when I moved back to NJ from the DC area, I commuted back to DC to see my dentist down there for a few years until I found Dr. Vu who was referred to me by a friend. I’ve gone to Dr. Vu for crowns, onlays and fillings. There may have even been a root canal in there. All successful, all painless. He does what he can to save the tooth, minimize impact, etc.

Our family chose Dr. Vu as our new dentist because he was in New Jersey Magazine's top dentists recently and he was also an in-network provider for our insurance carrier. We made appointments for 2 children and I made one for myself. I explained to the receptionist when I made the appointments that I was not a fan of x-rays for 2 reasons 1) I have read that routine x-rays are unnecessary and increase your chance of getting brain cancer, and 2) I am a cancer survivor and had already been treated with a lot of radiation. When we got to the office for my children's appointments, the hygenist came out to speak with me. In front of my children she went into this long explanation as to why x-rays were not only necessary but the doctor would not see with the kids without them. I conceded as my kids needed cleanings. I cancelled my appointment because the dentist said he would not see me unless I took the x-rays. I am disappointed with Dr. Vu. There was no sensitivity to the patient
