I first visited Dr. Strauss about 6 months ago and just started phase 1 TMJ orthotic treatment.
Dr Strauss. is great and what he does, friendly and helpful staff, readily available to answer questions, and overall very knowledgable in his field.
I wouldn't normally write a review like this if it wasn't for the events that took place the day of my treatment.
Dr. Strauss's office is a good 1 1/2 hour drive from where I'm staying (WITHOUT traffic) so making the visits was a bit of a trip for me.
When my orthotic was finished, I was told I could come in that day and get it inserted. Dr Strauss was on a tight schedule that day and needed to be out of the office at 4:15 (my appointment was at 3). I left early to get there but hit heavy traffic on the way.
I got there late and was told by Dr Strauss's secretary that if I got there too late we would have no choice but to reschedule because of the doctor's prior engagements.
I was about to turn around and drive back when I recieved a call a few minutes later from the secretary that Dr. Strauss would wait up for me because he didn't want me to have to make the drive again. I got my orthotic, and even in that situation he did not rush through the procedure.
