Went here for removing mercury fillings from from 2 teeth on bottom and 2 on top. One tooth was cracked on top and an onlay was placed. Left there and numbness never left part of my lip and my cheek remained swollen like a chipmunk. Also pain in the right side of my head going up to my temple. Dr. Singer was not concerned, he was off at a conference and had me see a friend who couldn't help either. I started seeing a plethora of specialists to find answers, ENT, neurologist, oral surgeon, another dentist. I even went back to Singer to give him a chance to try to figure what went wrong. I figured, he should at least take a look since he did the work. I was in and out in no time. He just stared blankly when I said I had pain in my head. He finally gave me his take. Sometimes anesthesia can cause numbness, although very rare. He did not address the onlay, chance of infection or swelling. His answer for swelling was sometimes a hematoma forms and causes swelling but is should go away. Give it time. So I finally decided to see an endodontist after speaking to my long time dentist in CA. He finally listened to me and my suspicion all along. I had 2 cleanings and one cavity filled at this Dentist wile I was working in the area. The filling went well and the cleanings were very thorough. I hadn't seen a dentist in years because of financial issues but once I got on a better track I paid out of pocket for Dr. singer as I had not had dental insurance yet.

Dr. Singer is the best dentist anyone could ever have! And I mean that. He is very kind, patient, explains everything prior to doing the procedure and his gentle way will put you at ease even if you are one to be nervous in the chair. I was very much on edge about having my mercury fillings removed. When I tell you I felt absolutely nothing, that is the honest truth. I actually started to fall asleep during the procedure - and I was not medicated, just totally relaxed. When a Dentist knows how to put you at ease like that - I consider that amazing - and Dr. Singers staff is absolutely the nicest, friendliest staff you will ever meet! It is refreshing to go to a doctors office whose front desk is a pleasure to deal with, and when you meet Laurie at the front desk you will agree. So if anyone that reads this is looking for the best dentist around - make an appointment with Dr. Singer, and I know you will be happy. And he is a perfectionist! Take a look at the photo albums in the waiting area with the before and after pics of the cosmetic dentistry! Great work he does.
About Hygienist: Maureen is a sweetheart. Very gentle, polite and just like Dr. Singer puts her heart into her work. She is wonderful - they all are - Laurie, Sasha, Tiffany and Maureen - what a great team Dr. Singer has !
