DISHONEST dentist. Had two crowns and an implant put in and just a week later they fell out. Dentist refused to address the situation. The insurance co is needing to fight him now, but I need to pay out of pocket to have a functioning mouth again.

He promised more than the could do. He didn't do right at the first time, the temporary crown fell off in less than 24 hours twice. The permanent crown couldn't be installed. He had to reshape the tooth, redo the mold, and send back to Lab for a new crown. After the crown installed, it was painful. I went back to see him, he did some adjustments but charged me $100+. After I complained, he agreed to reduced to $50+ for a tiny medicince his assistant put on my gum. His assistant forced me to agree to pay the charge, otherwise I can't make appointment for the pain caused by the crown. I didn't go but consulted another dentist who told me that my partial didn't match the new crown, which hurt the gum. After she made adjustment on partial, I feel better (still pain). Dr. Vitale didn't even mention the partial problem, the hurt would not go away, he could charge me every time when I go back because infection won't go away forever.

After 10 years of average treatments (check-ups,crowns, bridge) I was accustomed to Dr. Vitale's rushed work and reworks on almost every procedure.
He told me to find another dentist after he would not properly complete the crowns on my two front teeth. I was left with two poor fitting crowns that are completely unsealed and gouged in the back. I am awaiting the findings of my NJ dental Board complaint.
At his prices, I suggest you find another dentist that is honorable and competent.

He is the Best !!
And his staff is great !!
He is always mindfull of you and how your doing and felling during his treatment of you.
He takes pride in his work, and in the work he does on you. The office is so clean. He cares and it showes.
He is a professional and loves what he does and that shows too.
I like the way he tells you what is going to be done, and why. Plus he makes you feel relaxed and for that I say.
