Read Reviews for Dr. Leonard Baca
I found Dr. Baca by chance when I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed fast & he was the first dentist that could get me in. Boy did I luck out! I would recommend Dr. Baca & his team to anyone & everyone. They are kind, professional, yet very laid back & they provide a comfortable environment which makes for a relatively relaxing experience . I have no insurance so cost was a big concern & I found this office quite accommodating.

Initial visit went very well. His staff treated me first-rate and the over-all exam was quick and pleasent. They took care of my billing and insurance completely. In the end, I knew I needed orthodontic work done and I was referred to a good doctor. I would recommend his services and his staff for anyone needing a general dentist.

A concerned, extremely intelligent, patient-directed, caring professional. All of the work that he performed, from bridges to caps to rootcanals was excellent and some was very challenging. Everyone in the office reflects his professionalism.

I went to Dr. Baca for years until I left the area and had to find a new doc. I was actually considering traveling to Albuquerque from Reno twice a year just to keep him as a dentist.
The level of care which I received from him was excellent. Dr. Baca is very knowledgeable and soft spoken. I received *very* through dental exams and cleanings. He's also very gentle, I have relatively sensitive gums, and he rarely hurt me in the years that I was under his care (roughly 10). I will say that I didn't care much for the "bad habbits" lecture; but I paid him to care for my teeth and gums, and he was merely pointing out what I needed to do if I wanted to have nice teeth.

Dr. Leonard Baca likes to talk a lot about losing your tooth enamel. At first I thought he was educating me on the subject, but my next time in I felt like I was being lectured. I've heard he does this to most of his patients, and I think it's because he's researching the subject & believes there are issues with teeth whitening agents (e.g. crest whitening). I do think he's correct, however, I didn't like the way he lectured me for 30 minutes. I ended up not even getting a teeth cleaning and that was the purpose of my visit. I was falling asleep during his lecture and was sick of the place by the time I left. It was a waste of my time to go to him, and I no longer go to his office.
I was not only turned off by this, but also that he NEVER has any patients in his office while I'm there. And when I call to get an appointment, it's really easy to book a time because it sounds like they have so much availability. This can't be a good sign that the office isn't busy.
