I orignally started seeing Dr. Schumacher when a friend had great success with his treatment. I had been dentist hopping in town. After a fairly decent dentist who had treated me left his practce, it became apparent that I needed a new dentist. Dr. Schummacher was able to find the cause of tooth pain (a cracked tooth) and effectively treated it with a well made back crown. I have not been able to find any other dentist with the skill that Dr. Schumacher has. In addition to his excellent skills, he is a kind and compassionate dentist who will even call a patient to help settle one's fears about an upcoming procedure.
His front office staff is very helpful. A nice perk is a clerk whose only job is to tell a patient what his or her (non-insurance) portion of a bill will be before a major procedure. That way there are no surprises after the fact.
It is usually fairly easy to get an appointment with Dr. Schumacher.
About Hygienist: All of the dental hygenists at Dr. Schumacher's office have been consummate professionals. Each one listened to me when I explained a problem that I had had with a particular procedure. Each one worked hard to make sure that that procedure was never used with me. They made part of the experience of going to the dentist a pleasant one for me.
