Deep gum cleaning. (hadn't had them cleaned in five years!), gum upkeep (every three months since I'd been a slacker) and to date just the one filling but I need a number of them. The one she did was not an unpleasant experience, even the shot! Lots of neat focal points to concentrate on while the scraping, sawing and whatnot are happening and she has, in my opinion, the World's Best Dental Receptionist named Terry. I don't have insurance.
About Front Desk: Terry is the World's Best Dental Receptionist plus she will cal l you to remind you about taking any pre medications or try to fit you in on your schedule

My wife and I have both been seeing Dr. Shim for about 7 years now and we are VERY satisfied with her expertise, patient-centric focus, and the reliability and helpfulness of her staff. I highly recommend her services to others that are looking for a good dentist who clearly cares about her patients.
About Hygienist: I don't know the names of the hygenists who have worked with me at Dr. Shim's office, but they have always been very professional, friendly, and done a thorough job.

The woman that answers the phone for Dr. Shim is just the nastiest person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. Anytime I call the office she treats me like I am a huge inconvenience to her day. I heard her treat other people the same way both on the phone and in person. I would never reccommend this doctor unless she had people working with her that showed a little more compassion for people in general.-12/6/10

Dentist Shim barely cleaned my teeth during the cleaning, I've had far better.
