Dr. Doan is very pleasant, gentle and efficient. She seems to always be rushing is the only thing but still does a great job.

TOOTH EXTRACTION: Office staff nice. Was dreading seeing a dentist and in pain. I was hoping to save my tooth. Even though it was virtually empty, I got no face time with Dr. Doan before my exam. PRE-OP: 10 minutes after the x-rays someone behind me asked, "So you want this out today or when?" After a second I realized she was talking to me. Rotten bedside!!! How upsetting to hear a question like that without sympathy, explanation or at least eye contact! I asked if there might be any other options she actually laughed while saying "no". It might be humorous to her but I certainly didn't find it funny that I am now minus another tooth! PROCEDURE: She didn't numb me up enough initially. I recall asking her if she knew it was my bottom tooth. Most of the injections went on the top side of my mouth. After 10 minutes I was still in pain. I've been to several dentists and she has no skills with the needle. Most work slowly into the gums and flesh. She just went for it and it hurt! CONCLUSION: I went to this dentist after researching online reviews and they seemed neutral to good. I figured once she knew she was only getting $75 from my MGM insurance I got rushed out and fast tracked. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I found Dr. Doan to be very pleasant and relaxing. I am somewhat dentist-phobic and she was very good at alleviating my fears. The office was very good about explaining insurance coverage. Office personnel were pleasant. My only complaint is that everything seemed to take a very long time. Filling a single cavity meant spending slightly more than 1 hour in the chair. I prefer to think that this is because DR. Doan is very meticulous, and the work she did seems perfect so it is a very small complaint.
