Read Reviews for Dr. Calvin Dykes
I had a filling done by Dr. Raner and the tooth became abscessed in a few weeks. I can't say that the treatment led to the abscess, but even if it didn't, it seems like the filling was a pointless treatment since I would've needed a root canal for that tooth in the first place, not the filling. Coming here has felt like throwing hundreds of dollars into a black hole. Actually, worse, because I have to suffer the pain and possibly further damage to my teeth that will now cost more to fix by a specialist.

Nevada doesn't know the dentist they have in Dr. Dykes. Dr. Dykes did a root cannel on me not to mention a lot of other work. He has a great chair-side manner. Those who complain about not getting anesthetic prior to the shots are just babies Dr. Dykes delivers pain free shots prior to working on teeth. I have never been able to find another dentist like him.

Dr. Dykes isn't fond of using topical anesthesia. His initial quote was aorund $400 for a root canal but I ended up giving him about $1000 and he never did finish the work; had to end up going to Christensen and Brizee and paying another $1200. So by trying to save money, I ended up paying twice as much.
