Dr. Lamancusa has been my dentist for many years and he is always courteous and professional in his work. He also really cares about his patients and it shows in his work and personality. I highly recommend him to others and im sure you will find the same.

Although I am still a patient with Dr. LaMancusa, I would advise anyone considering treatment to inquire initially about what work will be done and the estimated cost. While I recognize that dental work is not inexpensive, an actual cost of 250% more than the quoted cost is unheard of in the business world, and while this is health care, it is still a business transaction. The operating staff seems very unaware of what work is scheduled to be done (on my fourth visit, the dental technician tried to take X-Rays which were obviously taken on my first visit). On two separate occasions I was told one procedure would be done and something completely different was actually performed. While I have no strong complaints about the actual work done, the manner in which it is done is unacceptable.
Dr. LaMancusa is very likeable, but available only limitedly (long waits in the office and on the chair). Also, the front desk office staff is generally very pleasant and accomodating. These two reasons are why I remain a patient; also I would like to finish the work that I initially contacted them to complete. Hopefully the communication between the dentist and the staff can improve.
