Dr Schamis is an unbelievable dentist and a wonderful human being...he cares about his patients and will always be there in emergencies...his receptionist is a little rough around the edges but there is no better dentist around...he is outstanding!!!!

Many years ago, a friend recommended Dr. Schamis to me. (My former dentist had retired). His receptionist has always been efficient and most friendly. Once you meet Dr. S, you will understand what a good man this is. While his professionalism is top notch, his infectious humor will come through immediately. He puts your fears of dentists to rest! Not only is he extremely good at taking care of ALL my dental needs, he does a terrific job of educating us as to how to better care for our teeth. I know from my years of going to him, that he accepts most dental plans, but I have also seen compassion for someone with limited funds in need of help. As I said before, this is a GOOD man as well as being an excellent dentist.

wonderful calming soothing bedside manner
very patient,.very empathetic,kind,very gentle
i travel from florida to ny every 3 mos to him,
he also does nonsurgical periodontic treatment combined with clinical therapeutic hypnosis

I used to take the kids for cleaning only and I didn't understand why they hated going there 'till I needed some work done on my own teeth, but after the second visit with this Dr. I have a fobia of going back to any dentist. He knocked my Brains with his Novocaine, drilled too many holes at one time; I felt like I was going to pass out, not to mention the outdated equipment he has in his office.

OVERALL I WAS EXTREMELY SATIFIED WITH DR. SCHAMIS WORK. HE HAD WARM AND FRIENDLY CHAIR-SIDE MANNER ALWAYS CONCREN FOR MY COMFORTABLITIY. EXCELLANT SERVICE PROVIDED AT THE FRONT DESK.
