Read Reviews for Dr. Philip Epstein
I and my 16 yr old were enjoying Dr. Epstein, no pain at all, but I want to share my experience under his care. First of all I am a severe diabetic and I have periodontal disease. I have always felt it was severe because of bad breath after brushing, flossing, and listerine. I knew eventually my upper teeth would all need to come out. This analysis was further assessed and the same conditions were expressed by Dr. Epsteins father who used to work in the practice with him. The father recommended complete cosmetic surgery for my upper teeth just before his retirement in 2006. Most of which had to be outsourced. At any rate, Dr. Epstein (the son) performed perio therapy on all quadrants (repeating for free a really bad quadrant where teeth are falling out now). He performed fillings, and he even pulled a bad one out beside the lose teeth. My total care in May 2006 was in excess of $3,000 and I don't have any preparations for cosmetic surgery. We all know that after teeth start to be pulled that perio is almost inevitable especially with my conditions. Dr. Epstein gave me the impression that he could save my teeth with perio therapy, flossing and listerine and that I would only need implants for the missing ones, but he couldn't.
