This is a very professional and thorough Doctor that I have recently been recommending my friends to see. I lost several of my back teeth due to bone and gum disease and was interested in all of my options for replacement. Dr. Kotlyar went over all of my options and I chose to do implants. I am so happy with the implants that he placed for me. I had virtually no pain and went to work the next day without any issues. I am getting them restored in a few months and can't wait to have fully functioning teeth.

About Front Desk: Very helpful in explaining the breakdown and what my insurance would cover versus what they would not

The staff there is very rude and nasty. The doctor himself is even worse. I would never recommend this place to nobody. He only cares about his pay-check, not about my teeth.

About Front Desk: Front desk barely speak English. They have an awful attitude. And they are the ones who do X-RAY using OLD equipment. It hurts, it feels uncomfortable and these ladies are not helpful at all.

I was referred to this dentist by many friends and decided to try him out after I have been to a slew of Brooklyn dentists. First and foremost his staff was very courteous and pleasant to deal with unlike many other offices which I have encountered in the past. They all felt like they were doing me a favor by taking my money. In the end I trusted this dentust to do a few crowns and two implants. I am extremely satisfied with the results and most importantly I felt no pain! I would recommend him to everyone!

About Hygienist: Pleasant and through and pain free as well. My guns weren't ripped up like before. I relaxed and watched tv and before I knew it it was offer. I'm literally looking forward to my next cleaning

My opinion is this dentist uses outdated treatment methods which were used in soviet russia. This is because after my crown and root canal, I experienced tooth discoloration (my white teeth turned grey) lots of pain and had to redo all of the work somewhere else and the other dentist was apalled to see how my work was done. Not sure I can recommend after that.

I had a root canal and crowns done at this office. The treatment was done efficiently, with care and most importantly no pain. Changed my outlook about the dental experience.

I know Dr. Yury Kotlyar for many years now and I am very satisfied with his work, his professionalism and his outstanding dedication to his patients. I recommend Dr. Kotlyar to my family and friends and it is always a pleasure to be in his skillful hands.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kotlyar since 1997. All this time, I am very satisfied with the treatments he has given me. All of the reconstructive work he has carried out has lasted and created no problems to me at all. It is very important to mention that Dr. Y Kotlyar has always been available whenever I have a dental emergency, and when he believes a required treatment is beyond the limits of his practice, he has referred me to his colleagues who have carried out the required pre-implant procedure. The office is very efficient in scheduling appointments and revising them, if it is necessary. I would defiantly recommend Dr. Y Kotlary to anybody who is looking for an excellent dentist.

I had an excellent experience at Dr. Kotlyar’s office. He took the time to explain my planned treatment outcomes. After having implant surgery, Dr. Kotlyar and staff called me numerous times to see how I am feeling. Would highly recommend him!!
