Crown and temporary cap. Dr. Strachan has an excellent bedside manner. Explains what, when and why. Puts you at ease and you feel safe under his care. Accepts my medical coverage which is a great plus. Would highly recommend!

I've done root canals and fillings. Well-done, little or no pain, moderate cost, good facilities, good insurance help, excellent chair side manners, office staffs are great (Steve in particular), I certainly recommend.

This dentist is not careful with his work and is not as knowledgable as other dentists I have seen since. And, as noted in an earlier review, when the results of his work aren't as expected, he gets defensive, and the defensiveness gets in the way of fixing the problem. Ultimately, the work that he did, combined with gaps in his knowledge, contributed to the loss of one of my teeth.

My Orthodontist referred me to him for an implant. He took a single XRay of the space. I called him 2 months later.He said you can come in tomorrow to have the implant. No analysis. That should have been a red flag. The day of the surgery he drilled so hard and high that he damaged my nerve. Now I have constant vibrations, spams in my lips where the implant was placed.The temporary tooth he placed was way higher than the other teeth. When I confronted him, he yelled at me from across the reception to say:" you came here with a whole in your mouth; there was no bone to work with. Then he asked:what do you do for a living, if you're a lawyer, do you win every case? Can you foresee the future? So he's just taking his chances. I complained about him to the BK Dental Society, they convinced me to settle, as he'd agreed to refund 1000 out of 1400. But the spams have gotten worse and they distract me so that I'm not able to focus. I keep my lips pursed all the time in order to stop them. I had the work completed by an experienced prosthodontist in NYC, and he said he'd never seen the devices Dr. Strachan used for my implant.

i have been going to dr strachan for almost twenty years and i can say that he is the best dentist you will ever find. he is a compassionate person and an extremely gifted dentist. you will be more then satisfied with his work. i highly recommend dr strachan
