He did a filling on my wife who didn't need it. Claimed she needed 3 more. Went for a second opinion and she didn't need any. He had me do this out of pocket gum thing. One side done, I went for that second opinion, didn't need it at all on the other side.
About Front Desk: LIARS! Called me to pay some bill I had already paid. When she started to argue with me, I said, if you keep on going I am going to call the police, you are a bunch of crooks -- she just hung up on me and I never heard from them again!!!

my experience with dr. lichter and his staff was great! my dental fears were overcome and now i can tolerate going to the dentist for regular treatment. i highly recommend dr. lichter. his chair side manner was excellent and his staff too.

I went to Dr. Lichter for a cavity that was hurting me. He soon realized that I needed a root canal, so he put a temporary filling in. After the temp filling, the pain got worse, I called the office and they said it was normal. I asked for antibiotics for a second time and they told me "they weren't necessary". I sat in excruciating pain for 2 days and then went to a R.C. specialist only to be told that my tooth was so infected it needed to be removed. Lichter's office wrote me a referral to an oral surgeon, where I waited in line for 3 hrs to be told they don't accept my insurance. I then drove all over bklyn looking for an oral surgeon, who took the insurance, and Lichter's office didn't even offer to help locate one for me, and they didn't apologize for their mistake. They are completely incompetent, and as a result I lost 3 days pay, sat in horrible pain and had to have a molar tooth pulled out. I'm only 25, and I don't have the $5,000 it will cost for an implant....lovely. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

He is fine, but the personel is not. Cleaning was the worst in my life. Receptionist is not professional at all: chats on the phone on personal topics, orders food while patients are waiting to have their paperwork accepted. I am not satisfied. My advise: go there once to check out for yourself, and i guarantee they won't see you there again.

DID NOT PAY MUCH FOR THE VISIT EXCEPT FOR THE CO-PAY AMOUNT WHICH WAS ONLY $5 . HE PUSHES TO PULL THE WISDOM TEETH, BUT MOST DENTISTS DO. I ELECTED TO FILL A CAVITY IN THEM.
HE ALSO PUSHES FOR THE GUM TREATMENT. MY TEETH ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. DON'T KNOW IF I NEED IT . THIS IS BASICALLY A GOOD SCALING AND WILL REMOVE MORE PLAQUE, SO I AM DOING IT SINCE IT IS GOOD FOR THE TEETH ANYWAY. WILL ONLY HELP. BUT I MIGHT NOT REALLY NEED IT, BUT HE CONVINCED ME TO DO IT. SO I AM CONVINCED IT COULD ONLY BE GOOD

Dr. Lichter is extremely professional, and yet very caring towards his patients. He takes the time to address any concerns or questions you may have, no matter how busy his day may be. His office staff is wonderful! Give his office a call, you'll see what I mean.
