I have been seeing Dr. Cerrato and dr Sheehan since I was old enough to see a Dentist! I have had everything done from basic cleanings to root canals,wisdom teeth pulled, etc. My entire family went to him (and still goes) and now I drive from NYC to have my daughter see him! N
About Front Desk: Darlene and Nancy have become like family! super sweet, super helpful with trying to negotiate insurance stuff..just so professional in every way

Root canal and prepare teeth for replacement crowns.
STOP RIGHT HERE! Do not go to this dentist. Don't let the nice office and nice staff fool you. Everything from the temps forward had to be replaced and I needed surgery. Treating with a fabulous dds and a surgeon. He ruined my teeth and my gums. They call him "the hack".
Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

Dr. Cerrato is an excellent dentist with a very caring staff. While he does not participate in insurance plans, he will wait for insurance payments andwill often accept reasonable payments in full.

Dr. Cerrato is the Best of the Best! Although I moved away from LI a life time ago, I still managed to travel 3 hrs. for his care because it's that good and I can trust him without a doubt in my mind. He's done 5 crowns and numerous fillings. It's been hard for me to find someone local but I know I can always go back if I need to.

When visiting Dr. Cerrato's practice, you have to consider the entire experience. I am a very anxious patient, and have had many poor outcomes with other dentists. Dr. Cerrato is fabulous. He always takes the time to explain, support and educate his patients. My procedures have always been pain free (without NO), and his staff is as supportive as he. The front office staff is so competent, friendly and cooperative, I wish they were part of my family! Currently, I am having implant surgery, and Dr. Cerrato has been in constant communication with my oral surgeon (Dr. Ralph Cangiano, another gem), to ensure the best possible outcome. I thank my lucky stars I was directed to this team of professionals.

There is no better dentist anywhere in this country. Dr. Cerrato has been treating my family and friends for more than 12 years, and he is a caring, intelligent, personable and friendly professional who provides unparalleled dental service in a health spa-like setting. He offers state of the art treament and expertise and truly cares about people. I would never switch, unless he retires of course.

Dr. Cerrato is a wonderful dentist. He makes it as pain free as possible and extremely careful and thorough with his work. I have been going to him for 10 years now, and even though I live in the NYC, I travel out to Long Island for check ups.

Dr. Cerrato is great. He is conservative in his approach but can do anything you need. He stays informed and up to date on new developments. His new office is beautiful and the staff is friendly and excellent at what they do.

I would never go to another dentist. Dr. Cerrato is a wonderful dentist who treats my wife and I great whenever we have appointments. He also has a wonderful staff who make you feel as though you are part of their family.
I highly recommend giving Dr. Cerrato an opportunity!!
