Dr. Peskin is a credentialed anesthesiologist and I switched to him because I have a very low pain threshold and I'm very dentist-a-phobic. With Robert I "go to sleep" and the procedure, no matter how complicated, is done when I wake up. He's competent, warm and friendly, and sufficiently skilled to be on a hospital teaching staff. I truly do not understand the two negative reviews, because they are exactly opposite to my experience. Aside from the fact that he may be slightly more expensive than others, I rate him very highly and enthusiastically recommend him to others, especially where "pain free" treatment is desired.
About Front Desk: Great staff, appointments easy to make, virtually never any long wait (unless he has an emergency or extremely complicated procedure that runs a few minutes late).

About Hygienist: She's friendly and skilled, uses nitrous oxide so it's not terribly uncomfortable, and does a very thorough job. I see her four times a year and my teeth are squeaky clean, my gums healthy, etc.

I was terrified of the dentist until I started going to Dr peskin , he was completely understanding and patient with my fear. I am no longer afraid and actually look forward to coming to the office. Dr peskin in my opinion is the best dentist around

Told me I had a cavity. Got a second opinion. Didn't have one.
When I first came to see him, told me I had 3 cavities. Never had 3 cavities at one time in my life.After the recent second opinion, I doubt I had any cavities back then. Also suggested a root canal for a tooth that needed a crown. I resisted -just ended up getting crown and have had not problems. Also, he added a build up of tooth charge after a quote on crown. I feel his service is motivated most by how he can get the most $ out of you.

I have been going to see Dr. Peskin for over 20 years. I guess you could call me somewhat phobic because I had SO many so-called cavities and fillings placed by another dentist in my childhood days. (UGH!)
When I enter Dr. Peskin's office, I am greeted by a professional and cheerful receptionist, a comfortable and pretty waiting room and a colorful fish tank. My fears immediately melt away, I relax because I know that I am in the right place and in good hands.
I recently needed a root-canal and a crown. Dr. Peskin explained the procedure clearly, and the treatment was a success. I was treated with respect and I felt no pain. I am grateful to Dr. Peskin for his patience and professionalism. I cannot thank him enough. His chair-side manner and dental expertise takes away all of my apprehension.

Warm greeting from office staff. No waiting. Office is clean. Instruments are high tech. Dr. Peskin has a calm and gentle nature and is quite the professional. I recommend him highly!

Dr. Peskin is truly a caring professional and painless dentist.
I started going to Dr. Peskin many years ago, looking for a second opinion after having had been misdiagnosed with many cavities by another dentist. I went to see Dr. Peskin in his office and feared the worst. To my delight he was honest, caring, and used the latest dental equipment. He is truly someone I can trust. He treats me with respect and explains my dental needs and treatment clearly. I am confident you will feel that way too. His office staff reflects his professionalism as well. Thank you Dr. Peskin!

Worst dentist ever. Very mean and angry guy. He kept yelling at me for being anxious about the procedure. I had to go back a total of 8 times because the crown he put for me kept falling out and he kept charging me for it! Terrible. I would never go back.
