Absolutely do not trust this dentist. He filled almost all my molars as a child. Only once did I go to him with pain in my tooth, and all the other fillings he insisted on doing after a regular check-up. Finally in my early 20's, I went for a regular cleaning and he wanted to fill three teeth, spouting something about Chenango pits (a term and phenomena he conceived/fabricated) and telling me I had three cavities. I did not make the follow up appointment to do the fillings. Another dentist a year later told me I had no cavities. I am 38 years old now, and I have never had a cavity or a filling since. I highly doubt I had most of the cavities Dr. Nelson insisted I had as a child. Rather, I suspect he was just trying to generate work ($$) for himself. Be very wary and skeptical of this dentist.
