I had the worst dental experience of my life with Michael Aronoff. He pulverized my back molar, which only needed a 2-sided filling according to another dentist, but which he claimed he could not do because it would "crack" my tooth. I sat horrified in the chair while he proceeded to drill my entire tooth away--a procedure that went on for about 40 minutes. I was in tears that night when I realized that this unscrupulous dentist had destroyed my mostly good tooth. Also suspicious is the inordinate number of patients making appointments for root canals, the specialty of his brother and business partner; in fact, he threatened me with root canal on the tooth he destroyed, but backed off when I expressed alarm at this stunning announcement. Additionally, he does not use disclosing tape, a standard practice to determine that all decay has been removed, so when it came time for me to have a crown made by another dentist for the tooth Aronoff had destroyed, she had to do additional work to remove the decay he had left behind. I would advise any potential patient to spare themselves a dreadful experience like the one I had, and choose another of the many competent and ethical dentists available.

the doctor gave me several fillings. he was very sensitive about my pain threshhold and wanted me to feel nothing. the entire staff were fantastic and made the experience as enjoyable as going to the dentist can be. they accepted my insurance and were very good about billing. i did not feel over billed or cheated in anyway. i am going to stick with this guy as long as i can.
