I went to see Dr. Cho for a consultation for a cracked tooth. After his staff took an x-ray and he examined my tooth, he presented three treatment options and explained each thoroughly. He answered all the questions I had and encouraged me to contact his office if I had any questions after the visit. Currently having no insurance, I was concerned how I could pay for any of the treatments. Dr. Cho and his receptionist Jesse offered a financing option. Having said all of that, the price of the treatment options Dr. Cho presented seemed a bit higher than what other dentists charge. Overall, I had a very good experience.

Dr. Cho and his staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and accomodating. I have never been to a dentist that is both as professional and talented as Dr. Cho. When I go into his office, I know that my teeth cleaning are going to be well-done and pain-free, and that any cosmetic work is going to be done with a masterful eye. Dr. Cho cares about aesthetics, and I know that I can trust him to give me the best looking dental procedure possible. I would recommend him to anyone emphatically!

Dr. Raymond Cho is a great dentist. After having a few bad dental experiences, he totally took away my fear of going to the dentist, I don't mind seeing the dentist twice a year now. Every visit is painless and he explains all the procedures he will perform. He also takes the time to answer any questions and concerns you may have. He is very skilled and knowledgeable. I recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Dr. Raymond Cho (Meridian Dental Group) is the best dentist on earth on all counts: skills, knowledge, sensitivity, personal care, focus, patience with questions, willingness to listen and explore options optimal to the patient, and on and on.
I met Dr. Cho when I was under extreme pain and after two other dentists couldn't see anything wrong. After that, I will folllow this doc where possible. My husband has become his patient too (and he is picky!). Dr. Cho explains things, explores options with you, gives you all alternatives and possible budgets, lays out a program for present and long-term care, pays sincere attention (i dare you to say the same of your dentist!), runs a fantastic modern (spa-like)clinic with his very nice wife and staff, always mindful of your concerns and comfort... what else can I say? He is the best. He explains like a professor (told him he should teach), and converses like a real, intelligent human being (not a distant automaton in white that many dentists seem to have become).
If you're in New York, you really must see Dr. Cho. Your search should stop right here.

Dr. Cho is very professional and courteous. He takes the time to explain everything he is doing and make sure the patient is very comfortable. Dr. Cho is very thorough and excellent at what he does. I have not had a better dentist in terms of both care and quality of work.

I went to see Dr. Raymond Cho at East 37th because of extreme pain that my old dentist failed to address (even after three visits under excruciating pain!). Dr. Cho diagnosed the problem accurately and did something about it right there and then. He probably saved not only my tooth but also my life (it turned out I had some kind of infection resulting probably from a terrible dental work by the old dentist -- no Dr. Cho did not say that, that's my conclusion; but could just imagine if that infection went up my brain or went down my heart?!). He did an emergency pain procedure, and got me on a program addressing other issues that I understood and followed with glee. He explains everything, works out approaches with you, treats you as intelligent human and involved party (it is your head afterall), makes sure you are comfortable and not feeling pain, etc. He is very very smart, young but very professional and very focused, very engaged, gentle (and a gentleman), and everything you would wish your doctor (all doctors) to be. I will follow this Doctor wherever his practice takes him (well, so long as it's not outside of NYC! I hope he does not leave NYC!). The clinic is rather pricey, but it matters less than your health and life.

I never really liked dentists, and I have a bad gag reflex. But Dr. Cho was patient and helpful and talked me through all 4 fillings that I had to take care of. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a through check-up and dental work.

I went to Dr. Cho as a recommendation from my friend who had used this site. I was very pleased with Dr. Cho and he will be my dentist for as long as I am in New York! He was very knowledgeable and gentle, and he made me feel very much a part of my entire treatment process. He also was able to see me right away and was very punctual.

What a relief to finally find a great dentist in NYC! He is a very nice guy who will immediately put you at ease. I'd had bad experiences with dentists whose only concerns were invisalign and Zoom treatments - there seem to be a lot of places in this city where dentists will give you aromatherapy and facial massages, feed you chocolates and herbal tea - but not too many where they will thoroughly and carefully fix your teeth. Well, this dentist will. His office is calming and comfortable and you can read or watch t.v. while you wait. Also, I have yet to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment. He will ask you opinion about dental work to be done, let you know what your insurance plan covers and keep you informed every step of the way. He just fixed a root canal and installed a crown for me and remarkably, it was a very comfortable experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great dentist!
