extremely basic clean up of my very healthy teeth. he clearly shows that he doesn't care about his patients. very sloppy work and extremely unprofessional demeanor. I am amazed he is still allowed to practice dentistry. filed a formal complaint against him.

About Front Desk: at first she was nice. very unkept though. not a good way to present a docyor's office but she fits right in with the two other staff members: the doc and the humorless and mannerless hygienist.

About Hygienist: she calls me without saying hello, walks me in a room & dies basic prep. she seems brainless, might be due to the amount of sugary drinks she drops down her throat

crown which is still painful. No attention to cosmetic result, drills away. Going to another dentist and paying again. Want it to be done properly and correctly so that it matches other teeth. Plus, stale smell of smoke when you step off elevator. He left exam room and returned with hands reeking of cigarettes, even through gloves. Disgusting!

About Front Desk: Schedule appointment for which they give you a card - in their handwriting - stating the date and time. The day you arrive for your appointment - according to what they wrote - they tell you that you're 2 1/2 hours late, but they don't tell the dentist that they messed up, they blame it on the patient then play stupid once the dentist sees the appointment card. BIZARRE!!! Practice NEVER confirms appointments!

He saw a family member on short notice. Was very accomodating and provided effective service

I went to Dr. Popkin twice for cleanings. I always thought he was very friendly and it was quite clean. I had no problems with him.

I am very unhappy with the service provided by this dentist. The receptionist is the rudest person I have ever come across. It is impossible to get a timely appointment even in the case of an emergency. The doctor never finds anything wrong with you, until your tooth is breaking apart. I think he just wants to do the minimum amount of work possible. If you care about your teeth, do not go to this dentist.

great experience,,, wonderful and friendly staff...office was clean and modern...dentist was knowledgeable and made me feel at ease....Had complete confidence A nice change from my previous dentist

He does 95% of the work himself ensuring perfection. He found and repaired several mistakes that my last dentist made that were causing me pain and almost cost me my teeth! He's great!
