I don't usually write reviews, but I'm so delighted that Dr. Emanuel Tennenbaum is my dentist that I want to refer him to everyone. If you are interested in getting high quality dental work, he is the one you should go to. I've been going to him 30 years, and I've always been extremely satisfied. Recently, I had some intricate and complex dental work done by him, and it came out great. Whether you need a filling, root canal, crown and post, or tooth coloring, he will do a first-rate job. (I know because I've had all of them.) His office is very friendly, and visiting it is truly a pleasant experience. The atmosphere there is the epitome of professionalism. I enthusiastically recommend him to all those interested in high quality dental work. Although most of my dental work was performed by Dr. Tennenbaum, his partner Dr. Stanley Weiss is similarly a top-notch dentist who does great work.. I should add that both he and Dr. Weiss are especially skillful in making your dental procedures painless and comfortable. I live in Brooklyn, but I make the trip to Manhattan because Dr. Tennenbaum is well worth it. I've recommended Dr. Tennenbuam to many friends and colleagues, and all were very satisfied & have become his regular patients.
About Front Desk: The secretary/receptionist is extremely pleasant and efficient.

I was recommended to Dr. Tennenbaum by my endodontist and was told I needed 6 or 7 crowns done which would affect my front teeth and my whole smile. I was very anxious to undergo such an extensive procedure, and was fearful that the outcome would look unnatural. Dr. Tennenbaum was very gentle and calming, and the outcome was a complete success. I feel confident with my smile and with my decision to use this dentist.

Dr. Tennenbaum bought my former dentists practice even though I requested my files to be sent to another dentist. After three phone calls, my records are still being kept by this office.
Apparently the patient has no rights to their Dental records even though they will never go to that office. Business over health.
Would you trust someone like this with your mouth?
About Front Desk: The front desk staff is uncooperative. They shield the dentist and deny having records of your phone call. My written request to have my files transferred was never return by the USPS, so it was delivered.

Full disclosure - I am phobic about going to the dentist. After my previous dentist retired, he referred his patients to Dr. Tennenbaum, for which I am grateful. Dr. Tennenbaum has replaced a bridge, replaced fillings and performed a root canal (which was completely painless) and done innumerable cleanings. I highly recommend him.
