I just stopped in today for a routine cleaning. I'd like to submit my recommendation for Dr. Young and the team he's assembled at Noho Dental. The first thing I always notice when I walk into his gorgeous office is how clean it is. The light literally sparkles against marble, he has original artwork on the walls. I feel like I am in a summer home in the Hamptons instead of a dental office. His receptionist looks like a fashion model , within minutes I was offered an ice water served in a wine glass. He took the time to ask me what was new in my life and he actually listened, he makes patients feel like they are important and not just a dollar sign. I've shleppled all the way from Queens for 5 years to see Dr. Young because nobody in my life has ever provided as outstanding customer service as this guy and he's the only dentist I look forward to seeing .
About Front Desk: Excellent, friendly, exceptional follow up. I've never had a receptionist at a dental office offer me a chilled ice water in a wine glass like I was a guest at their party. Definitely made for a positive impression.

About Hygienist: I forgot her name but she had a sweet Irish accent. Very efficient and intuitive, knows how to make patients feel comfortable.

Before I found Dr. Young 14 yrs ago (DY hereafter), I was worked on by 4 other dentists over 2 yrs. I told him of the work some of the other dentists were suggesting. His reaction: much of it was NOT necessary. I saved over $10K following his advice! DY has done some complicated work when it was warranted. His conservative approach has prevented a number of deep cavities from turning into root canals. When 2 root canals (done 20 yrs ago) failed, DY referred me to very competent oral surgeons. He has recently restored implants with well-fitted crowns. DY spends a great deal of time and care in treating me; he is extraordinarily thorough, explaining why something is necessary. Tells me urgency – particularly if there would be $ advantage to waiting for a new insurance year or flexspend period. I have NEVER felt pressured into a procedure. I am anxious about my mouth; my teeth are very sensitive. DY is gentle, calm and reassuring during treatment. When he numbs me up during a visit, he always calls me the next day to make sure everything is ok. I have referred at least 5 friends to DY; we often have said among ourselves that we are so grateful to have a dentist that we trust. DY is invaluable; I highly recommend him.
About Front Desk: Always helpful - get messages to Dr. Young promptly in the event I need to speak w him directly. Very helpful w scheduling -- fitting me in. My insurance is always filed right away.

Doctor Young is great! I love how he really know his craft. He is passionate about his job and that is smeared in the pacience and dedication for his job!!! His office is clean and very beautiful! His staff is also very sweet and professional! He always calls to check on me if he does an important dental job on me!!!
He tries to acomodate me in his schedule every time I call.
I honest cant think of anything I dislike about him!!!!
I strong recommend him!!!
About Hygienist: The office is a state of art. He is so polite and calm. Thumbs up for his job, staff and location!!!

I went to see Dr. Young in 1998 and he has been my dentist since that time. I liked him right away because he was thoroughly professional yet had a down-to-earth, friendly personality which made it easy to talk about my dental concerns.
My first appointment was a routine cleaning, and I was surprised at how meticulous he was with every detail. It almost seemed as if he cared more about my teeth than I did! Since that time, he has done cosmetic work, crowns, on-lays, fillings and regular cleanings. His work has been
consistently excellent: Completely thorough, minimal discomfort, economical, and results beyond expectations.
Through the years, I've recommended Dr. Young to friends and colleagues; their experiences were as positive as mine.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Young has participated in overseas missions work for twelve years, giving people in third world countries an opportunity to receive desperately needed dental work. He has really enjoyed these experiences and considers it a privilege to use his gift to help others.
Dr. Young is both an excellent dentist and a man of integrity.

Dr. Young reaches far beyond the discipline of dentistry to be a friend. He has my best interest at heart, interested in my total well being. This genuine concern is not only expressed in his NYC office that overlooks Central Park, but also in Third World countries where he regularly donates his time, talent, and treasure to those who cannot afford dental care. You will seldom find a more compassionate, caring, skilled craftsman in any proffession than you will find in Dr. Young. He is honest and forthright.

Dr Young does all the work himself (no dental hygenist) in a pleasant, but small, office overlooking Central Park. He is very thorough, and more importantly extremely GENTLE. I went through lots of dentist before I found Dr. Young, and he gives the best cleanings with the least amount of discomfort. Also, I never have to wait for my appointment more than 5-10 minutes. NOTE: Dr. Young doesn't automatically accept insurance - ie, you pay the bill upfront, then his office will file the paperwork and you will be directly reimbursed by your health care provider via check. To me it's totally worth paying up front to have such pleasant, stress-free dental care.

after expressing my concerns about the cost that was involved with putting implants in, he became disinterested in me as a person. there was a callous disregard for me after that point and I even felt that he was "intentionally" giving me pain and discomfort with a minor procedure that he was doing at the time. shocked by how unprofessional he is.

Stanton Young is very professional, warm, understanding and just an overall great dentist. His staff are very polite and his office is fantastic! If you can choose any dentist, he's the one.

I think the best way to prove my appreciation for Dr. Young is to say I have referred him to everyone I know. He is professional, nice, fair and most important he loves what he does. It comes across. I have had dental emergencies and I have had check-ups he handles both situations with grace and talent.
I hope one day he gets his own office because his surroundings are a bit cramped, but if that is my only negative, he is doing well.
