Dr. Zipkowitz has been my dentist for 6 years. He is thorough and does good work. The staff is friendly and accomodating.

Dr. Zipkowitz is extremely friendly and proactive about getting your teeth healthy. My teeth feel great for the first time in years. His staff is super friendly as well. I have a strong fear of the dentist and tend to ask a lot of questions. Dr. Zipkowitz erased all of my fears and patiently answered my questions. I would highly recommend his services. My only complaint is that sometimes it is hard to get an appointment if it is not an emergency, but the wait is well worth it.

Dr. Zipkowitz's office is pleasant and he's a competent dentist. He does not coddle patients, and can appear to be somewhat aloof, though he is certainly competent. I have never felt that I received stellar service, but my pains were addressed as necessary.
About Hygienist: The hygenists are very friendly and make the experience more personable.

I go out of my way to see Dr. Zipkowitz, who is a genuine, honest, and empathetic dentist. His staff is incredible and he is gem.
About Hygienist: Excellent care, difficult to get in, so schedule early.

patient, kind dentist. very helpful for me because i have horrible teeth. Can be a bit painful with the cleanings but seems very, very skilled.

I've been a patient at Dr. Zipkowitz's office for 2 years. The staff is very competent and usually friendly. I have never had to wait longer than 15 minutes for my appointment. Having said all this, I must note that their offices are far from fancy (though clean) and there's little in the way of luxury or distractions to deter from the not-too-pleasant experience of going to the dentist. So, while I don't hate going there, I also don't look forward to making an appointment. Dr. Zipkowitz has a much better chair-side manner than his partner Dr. Yuo, though she is also a competent practitioner. If you're looking for a no-frills dentist around E 14th Street, this is a good option. If you would like a pleasant experience on top of getting your teeth fixed, consider going elsewhere.

Wonderful staff and very accomidating with schedules and payments. They definitely work with you. The only complaint is that there is no on-site anesthesia for major surgery, but otherwise, they are fantastic....

Very disapointing experience. Location is great but office is mundane and shabby looking. It would be nice to be notified up front about the cost instead of the office manager cornering me after one incident where my insurance didn't cover a procedure. One "hello" would have been nice - I was not his patient but I was there every six months like clockwork and Zipkowitz never even looked my way.
