great doctor, fit me in for pain I was having. very professional and office is so clean. I was nervous and doctor made me feel so comfortable. I am going back next week and would def reccommend 5 stars

Doctor met me with a smile and immediately lit up and started counting the amount of work he would do in my mouth. I needed to fix one issue that failed almost immediately. The doctor refused to fix it and wanted me to pay more money for "additional" services.

I first met Dr. James DeLeonardis when I was in excruciating pain and needed root canal. He immediately met with me for a consultation the day I called and made sure I started the procedure that day. I came home knowing that I made the right choice in choosing a competent dentist who was in the same town I lived, Oceanside, New York. I only wish I had found him sooner. The office also has state of the art equipment, which is helpful for relieving stress involved with any dental appointment!

The facilities were new and clean, and the assistants were nice, but the doctor and his front staff seemed really concerned about money. I had no money issues, however every step of the way they consulted me about the cost of every diagnosis and made sure I could pay that day. They are expensive, I guess that's how he funds such a nice looking office with only one doctor, however I would prefer my money went towards quality care rather than new technology that I may never need. Also, the doctor complained often about his wife and marriage while he was in with me, and he saw several other patients during my consult, running back and forth between rooms. I would not recommend this office.
