Read Reviews for Dr. Matthew Hyde
Dr Hyde is a wonderful dentist with a great sense of humor. He does what you need and does not push work for what you don't.
Over the years, when I have had uninsured periods, he has worked with me to keep costs down.
Enid and Doris are sweet ladies who assist and always a joy to see.
Not once have I ever experienced pain and he does a great job with bonding.

My experience with Dr. Hyde was frustrating. Every time I went there expecting to get my new teeth there was always a problem and they didn't fit. he always blamed the lab. He never stops talking and is full of himself. i would never recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hyde for approximately 20 years. I feel he is the consummate professional. His injection technique is absolutely painless and anxiety free. He is very caring and has a wonderful chair side manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I had veneers redone for my front teeth that came out incredible! I am no longer the slightest bit self-conscious about my smile at all. People cannot believe that my front teeth are not my own. Recently Dr. Hyde also did a veneer for one of my side teeth. He had the gum line changed in order to accommodate my new tooth and smile. It looks positively wonderful. It is a subtle change that has completely changed my smile in a positive way.
I would recommend Dr. Hyde to anyone who is looking to improve their smile. His technique is virtually painless! (Surprising commentary for a dentist!) The music that he has playing in the background is awesome and is a good distraction when sitting in his chair.
He is a perfectionist and really enjoys being a dentist. Because of these qualities, he will not let you walk out the door without being completely satisfied and I mean not only you, but him.
He explains all charges ahead of time so that you know what to expect, but regardless of the fee, his work and professionalism is outstanding and well worth his charges.

He is a pefectionist in the work he does to the point of being anal fixated. This a great quality in a dentist. He makes sure your comfortable and the work is done correctly. He takes dentistry very seriously and truly cares about his patients. He is very acessible. When you call him if he can he comes to the phone or calls you right back. He treats you more like a friend than a patient. It really does go out of his way for his patients. In person he is very personable and make you feel at ease. Good sense of humor. He however does tend to talk too much especially when you cant talk back. The best part of going to Dr. Hyde is that he is a painless dentist. He makes sure your numb. He has a way of giving shots that you really dont feel. On the negative side he tends to be a bit expensive. However if you want excellent dental work without pain. He's the man.

where do I begin?
went in with a problem
came out with the same problem only with a lot less money in my wallet.
this guys 'chair-side manners' are to be desired
after the filling, the nurse gave me a tylenol as a courtesy in case I was in any discomfort once the novacaine wore off.
once I told her that I will take it once I got home, she told Dr. Hyde, who came to me and said that the pill is an office courtesy and if I elect not to take the pill in the office, he will need it back.. So I handed it back to him only to have him throw it away!
Additionally- this guy tried to mislead me by saying that if I did not pay the full amount due at the time of the visit, then "according to my insurance" he has the option of charging me more. Once I got out of there, I phoned my insurance immediatly and they said that was unethical of him to say.
Furthermore, I still have the same tooth pain that I had when I walked in. He simply removed the old filling and put in a new one. But that did not solve the problem.
Anyway, I would not go back.
The only positive, is that he was very detailed with me about the procedures he was embarking upon in my mouth. And he even allowed me to hold a mirror so I can watch the procedures.
