Read Reviews for Dr. Charles Bell
this was my first time at a new dentist due to the fact I hve recently graduated college and will be permanently living in the cincinnati area. I will give a little history about my past dentistry experience, I have never had braces(I have perfectly straight teeth) or a cavity in my life and I floss/brush 3 times a day. I will say Dr. Bell is VERY aggressive.he suggested veneers, a mouth guard, 3 fillings and 6 sealants and Invisalign. This cost would be well over 7K. I told him I would née a second opinion. I went to my previous dentist and the "diagnodent" tool that he used he can set whatever number he wants and consider it a cavity. I felt very unhappy and I felt that since I was 23 that he was trying to take advantage of my age by telling me I needed all this work and making me feel conscious about my smile. I will never go back to DR. bell again all they want is your money.

Way too pushy office and hygienists. Even when nothing is wrong, they find a way to tell you that you "need" this or that. Just because I have good dental insurance does not mean they should PUSH all the "extras" they try to get you to do. If you decide to go to Bell Dental, make sure you have a sticker on your forehead that says "NO!" I personally like both Dr. Bells (David and Charles) but I do not have the salary of the Cincinnati Bengals.

This practice is very procedure driven and very busy. Work recommended for me was extensive and expensive; in talking with my new general dentist it seems perhaps procedures may have been done that were not necessary. When I had pain after procedures, the dentist was reluctant to find a solution, which ended up being multiple root canals on teeth he worked on within the past year. I would be reluctant to recommend this practice.

Very high tech, too high tech. Tries to get you to get work done that you don't really need (told me I had 8 cavities!! my 2nd opinion said I had "1 watch spot"). Charges well over what my ins pays.
