I am saddened and hurt that a denist I've know for 10 years would LIE to me to get me to go through with expensive dental crowns. Dr Keller told me I had decay under fillings and would need 4 crowns. I was suspicious when the hygienist wouldn't look at me. I went to another dentist telling him nothing other than I needed a cleaning and x rays. The new dentist said I was fine and to come back in 6 months. When asked about decay under fillings he said there was NONE! I had let Dr. Keller put two crowns in my mouth two years earlier due to "decay under fillings," thus Dr Keller learned the buzz words to get me to go through with treatment. Now I wonder if those two crowns were really necessary. Dr Keller will LIE about needed crowns just for the money. If he suggest these are needed for you, please get a second opinion first. It could save a tooth.
About Hygienist: They are nice but work for a dentist of questionable ethics.
