When my dentist retired I was looking for a good dentist and I found Dr. Levy who had excellent reviews by his patients. In an emergency he saw me the same day and resolved the problem successfully. He consistently takes the time an effort to explain to the patient the pros and cons of different choices. When a procedure is performed in his facility it is stress free and at complete satisfaction. His supporting personnel and hygienist are also of excellent quality. My mother and I are glad we found Dr. Levy, a top quality professional indeed.

On my very first visit for a simple teeth cleaning, Dr. Levy tried to talk me into replacing my fillings but they were fairly new and no other dentist had expressed concerns. Then Dr. Levy aggressively pushed to replace my 1 and only crown, but after 3-4 visits I caved in and agreed.
I arrived early and was eventually put into a room where staff started to explain the procedure. I was shocked when She said they would be replacing TWO crowns AND some fillings! I explained that I never agreed to undergo that much much work, and I didn't even have that many crowns to start with so how and why would they replace them? The nurse kept leaving the room, seemingly to ask the wizard behind the curtain what she should say. I asked to see my file, and found that they were prepping me based on another patient's file! I started to leave the office at that point, and they apologized and begged me to stay. I was so confused that I stupidly agreed and have regretted it ever since. 2 years later, the new crown that Dr. Levy installed causes me pain every single day and I avoid chewing on that side of my mouth. I hope this post helps you & your family avoid the devastating effects Dr. Levy caused me through his series of unacceptable mistakes.

About Hygienist: they should stick to cleaning teeth because they cannot read patient files properly and they couldn't keep their stories straight regarding 'necessary' additional procedures that Dr. Levy was trying to sell/push on me.
