I have been going to Dr. Richard Stenger for over 16 years. He has handled all the routine procedures for me, my wife, and our two girls - ages 10 and 12. These procedures have included Cleanings, X-Rays, Fillings, and Crowns. Dr. Stenger is a very sensitive man and clearly has the best interests of his patients in mind; on several occasions he recommended pediatric specialists to provide second opinions or provide services for my children. His work is virtually painless. He is a member of the Met-Life Preferred Dental Providers network - and this has provided for very cost effective service. Also, he and his assistant are very efficient in managing insurance contacts - so very few issues have ever come-up in that area. Dr. Stenger is a very truthful caregiver, and will explain any questions in as much detail as you are willing to request. His chair-side manner is good; and at times he can seem a bit over-gracious, but I find that he is just very nice.
About Hygienist: Linda is Dr. Stenger's Hygenist/Assistant. She has been with him for all 15 years that we have been visiting their office. Together they are extremely accommodating with regard to appointments, emergencies, and service. Linda does more of the office management - Dr. Stenger does cleanings and exams himself.
