Dr. Bowen is the best! I had gone to him years ago on my family's dental plan. After returning to Ohio I first went with a dentist that accepted my work insurance (awful) I decided to drop my insurance and shopped around, I found Dr. Bowen's prices to be the same as many others so I returned. He has done excellent, quality work. He removed & covered with veneers these yellow and white flouride spots I had on my front teeth (just in time for my wedding), Then just recently I tripped and bumped loose a front tooth and Dr. Bowen has gone out of his way to see me and fix the mess I have made. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would not go anywhere else. I highly recommend!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bowen's for 15 years. Mostly just for cleanings. I have had a few cavaties filled by him - all painless (and without any pain medicine).
All the dental hygenist are wonderful. Very friendly.
I highly recomment him!

Unfortunately, I've been in a number of times for crown replacement broken teeth, chipped teeth... not the norm for me. Dr. Bowen has an exceptional staff - warmest, friendliest, most helpful staff I've ever experienced at any medical office. Dr. Bowen is very concerned about patient satisfaction and is gentle, kind and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend him. He was recommended to me overwhelmingly by two people with whom I work. He certainly would be ranked in the "genius" area of knowledge of his field and quality of work. He is expensive, but worth it if you care what your smile looks like (and who doesn't). I have plans to have veneers at some point and he is the dentist I will select. Kat B.

Dr. Bowen always makes you feel comfortable and has been very competent in all of the procedures that he has done on me. Years ago when his father was my dentist he actually made the crown that was put on my tooth. He has done root canals and crowns on me over the years and later sent me to another competent dentist for my last root canal. When he was doing a root canal and part of my tooth broke off unexpectedly they had to make me a temporary tooth until they could do a crown. They made an excellent temporary tooth for me. I have heard of other people having temporary crowns, from other dentists, falling off and causing a lot of pain for those people. I have never had any problem with any crowns that I have had done by Dr. Bowen, temporary or permanent. When I had to have crowns in my front teeth he made them all nice and even. Before that the teeth on each side of my 2 front teeth were set back. All of the staff are friendly and professional. Janet, my dental hygienist is also excellent and fun.

Dr. Bowen has a very calming and patient way about him. He is great at redirecting your attention when giving a numbing shot- a wonderful quality in a dentist! His staff is super, too (especially Janet) always professional and so friendly as well. Price- wise, I don't know, I never "shopped around" for a crown or anything. I never dread going to the dentist- what greater review is there than that?

I'm using this service even though it's out of network because Dr. Bowen's staff keeps me from totally freaking out due to my severe dental phobia.

my insurance company did not cover the amount originally estimated by Dr. Bowen's office, which was disappointing because i had a much greater out of pocket cost than i had anticipated. however, my experience at his office overall was fantastic. i have already recommended him to others and i am confident that i am receiving the best dentistry available.

Dr. Bowen is the best dentist I have ever been to, and I have seen dentists in NYC and Philadelphia as well. I love Dr. Bowen, I saw him from the age of 9-29. The only downside I have experienced with Dr. Bowen is that his prices are very high, and I don't trust his billing staff........but if I had the money I would go to him anyway.

excellent, pain free dentistry. i would recommend dr rick and his staff to anyone who is nervous about having dental work done. the sedation option was simple, and helped me make it through my appoinment.
