I will start off by saying 19 years of going to her practice has turned out to be a huge,painful,costly mistake. In all of those years I was never given a periodontal probing, which I should have gotten once per year as standard of care in dentistry. I left her practice due to another family member leaving and going to a new dentist to find out what a mess her mouth was in. When I went to the new dentist I was shocked to hear that I have peridontal disease so bad that I have bone loss due to Dr Hurtt's negligence. She has no modern equipment, and practices primative dentistry to say the least. My advice is to run not walk away before you lose your teeth!

I use to love Dr Hurtt thought she could do no wrong and now my family has a mouth full of problems!! She seems great because she has no interest in doing her job. I lost 4 teeth and a boat of other problems. My mom also has seen her for years and went to the new dentist today and has a mouth full of problems.
Shirely was always great! However Dr Hurtt is a nightmare.

Dr. Hurtt is the only dentist I will go to. I recommend her to people who are scared of the dentist because she is so gentle. I personally have always enjoyed going to the dentist. I don't know her on a personal level but she is so patient and caring. She has a sweet spirit. She won't tell you that you need work done if you don't really need it. She doesn't over charge. She is the best - Period!!

Knowledgeable and extremely caring, always a pleasure to see Dr. Hurtt for regular exams or any other dental work. She always does whatever it takes to provide the best care possible for me.

Dr. Hurtt is fabulous. She is thoughtfull, kind & intelligent. She is curtious about your payment and if insurance covers if you have it. Shirley her receptionist is outstanding as well The office in general is always smiling :)

She's great, patient, nice and supportive... does not perform any unecessary procedures, and is wonderful about giving you options...
