Read Reviews for Dr. Richard Sherman
Lack of new technology, skills are not sharp at all. Not smooth as a dentist who has more than 30 years of experience. More training is needed. Recommend unnecessary procedures.

18 months after getting a filling, it feels like it has shifted out of place. I have never had any sort of dental problems (including cavities), but he insisted I needed fillings and a plethora of other work that has never been pointed out by another dentist. I didn't trust him. I also felt put-off by the high-pressure tactics used by him and his office manager. I will not go back.

He's very responsive and has taught me a lot about dental care. However, I have to pay a lot every time even after insurance coverage. I don't understand what he did was covered or not covered.

Sherman is nice guy, office is lacking professional staff! You will be harassed for any appoinment made and will be liable if you are unable to make. Also Parking is a problem.

I am ashamed to admit that I am an Adult who has always been afraid of Dentists. I've got horrible, horrible dental problems, and last year I finally broke down and made an appointment. I chose Dr. Sherman at random. I'm incredibly glad that I did. He and his dental assistant, Karen are friendly, low-key and good at what they do.
Because of my dental problems, I've had to visit him nearly once a month for the past year. Almost all of my "dentist-anxiety" is gone. I still don't enjoy going getting my teeth worked on. But now I enjoy visiting his office.

i went to see him 1 time and wouldn't get back in the chair, his office is outdated and he is unprofessional. He yelled at his wife and staff in front of me. Something about him seems "off' . Staff wanted to discuss their "personal" stories ( i just want me teeth cleaned). Dentist even got into discussing his ex wife with my husband. We wanted a dentist not a psychologist. Went into a lengthy discussion on how he bills ins. and i was totally confused. Never had a Dr, visit in my life that was as strange and uncomfortable as this office was. After 1 visit close a a year ago my new dentist asked for my xrays and Sherman wants $55 to make a copy and send them. I called ins. co and they said he can do that, just most don't. When i'm obviously not going back why would he need to "copy " them. i will be sending a grievance in writing to the address my ins com. gave me.

He claimed he restored one side of my mouth and I was back in a couple of weeks with a very very bad pain and it ended up I needed a root canal. I would not recomend.
