I came into Dr. Daneault's office for teeth whitening and while he was making me a whitening tray I mentioned I needed a new retainer. He said he would make me one as well. When I came to pick it up I was surprised with an additional 275.00 charge for the retainer, which was never mentioned until after it was made.

I elected to have my teeth whitened with Dr. Daneault. As he was making my teeth molds he said it would be easy to make me a retainer as well. He never discussed the upcharge of $275.00 until the procedure was done. When I went to his office to discuss the matter I was greeted by an extremely rude office worker who insisted I was told of the upcharge. Be careful of upcharges with this dentist.

I have had fillings, root canals, wisdom teeth pulled, whitening, and just recently a dental implant. I am, as always, pleased with the staff, service, and the overall care I receive. I am terrified of pain, doctors, needles, hospitals, and so on. I usually pass out and feel sick at any appointment. Dr. Daneault Jr, takes his time with me and makes me feel very comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone.
About Hygienist: Dr. Daneault's hygienist, Kathy, is wonderful. She always makes me feel great about my teeth. I always leave with clean feeling teeth.

Dr. Daneault comes from a lineage of dental excellence. He followed his father's footsteps and has had exposure to the field of dentistry for over 20 years from working in the dental office as a teenager, to graduating with high honors from OSU. He is also a part time instructor at OSU. He is extremely knowledgable of all facets of his profession and has the ability to calm the most timid or nervous of patients. He is very gentle, his prices extremely reasonable and is completely available to ease his patients regarding more extensive procedures to be done at other specialists office. He is great about explaining any procedure and has a top notch staff on hand. I would highly recommend him to children and anyone of any age!
About Hygienist: Dr. Daneault has a top notch hygenist named Kathy P. She has been in this field for 30 years and provides a top notch cleaning without any pain! She is a true gem.

Dr. Daneault teaches at OSU, and is very knowledgable. He explains his treatments very well. He personally has cleaned my teeth each visit -- not his hygenist. He has state of the art equipment, including digital x-rays which were quick and easy.
My only concern is that he is little rough. His cleaning, although very thourough caused me discomfort for a couple of days. When I had fillings done, I have never hurt so much from the novacaine shot. He really jammed the nedle into my mouth. Consequently, I am apprehensive about sending my 3 year old daughter to him for her first dentist visit. I would prefer someone more gentle for her. I will continue to see him because his knowledge and skill outweigh the discomfort.
