There are many excellent dentists in the valley with great technology, good artistry and patient-friendly staff. Deer Valley Family Dentistry is not one.
After determining what we owed based on an out-dated quote (from the previous plan year – my wife delayed the work because we were near the annual limit) the staff demanded (it was clear they weren’t going to let her leave) the extra $600. Our payment was processed immediately but it has been over two months (and still counting) getting the money back. One excuse has been followed by another – and always someone else’s fault. Mistakes are made, but the hassles we encountered here are far greater than any other medical provider we deal with. And with all this, the crowns were not even a good color match to my wife’s teeth – nowhere near the work being replaced, which was done 25 years ago. In addition, there was no effort make certain the crowns would work with the removable braces my wife was wearing.
