Read Reviews for Dr. James Durst
Dr. Durst has been our family Dentist for the past 25 years. My dental work has only consisted of a couple of fillings, nothing extreme. However, my husband recently had to have a veneer put on a broken tooth and we are very pleased. The process was very relaxed and pain free. We couldn't be happier with the results!

crowns. Absolutely horrible...do not fit and very uncomfortable. He was rough and very rude. Lousy work.

I have been seeing Dr Durst for about 4 years.
Things like fillings were satisfactory, he also replaced 2 crowns on
my rear molars.
He did braces on me because of a bite issue, needless to say the final result was less than desireable.
He removed my braces too early and put me into some sort of appliance much like a football mouthpiece even though I specifically asked him if leaving my braces on for another 2-3 months would be more beneficial, he said NO.
The appliance was too small and my teeth seemed to turn in, when I complained to him it seemed he really didn't listen well.
I spent 1 more year going to him while he tried to correct my bite and rotated tooth, which probably could have been solved if he had left my braces on longer. He even put me in a "half-brace" for 4 months to get the rotated tooth straight.
Conclusion, my tooth is still rotatated, my bottom teeth are getting more crooked (no retainer but a wire glued to the inside of my bottom front teeth).
My top teeth (molars each side) are "turned in"
He is not a bad dentist but I would NOT recommend Dr. Durst for Braces.. period..
