My husband and I have been going to Dr. Nip since we moved to San Francisco. He's very competent and thorough, and he & his staff make sure that going to the dentist isn't an unpleasant experience. By far my favorite dentist I've ever had.
About Hygienist: All of his hygenists are friendly and competent.

A very competant, detailed, and pleasant dentist. The first in a years that I've been to who does his own cleaning. And a very thorough cleaning. My only small objection is that he almost always tries to "upsell," encouraging you to have elective work done. Granted, it will probably need to be done eventually, but still, there's a little too much selling. Though in his defense if you say "no thanks" he doesn't push at all, so it's easily tolerated and worth it for the good work he does.
