Dr. Vandale is a wonderfully brilliant dentist who deserves credit. Over some 15+ years I've had multiple crowns put in place by Dr Vandale and each has lasted far longer than expected... all with minimal pain and excellent explanation of what was going to be done and what to expect. "Whoever" mentioned something negative about "Bernie", well that receptionist has been gone for years and it's sad this site averages such into the doctor's average, allowing such a thing (a receptionist) to reflected about the doctor/dentist ... especially when not dropping such off the list as time moves on and things have changed. I've never had a problem with a staff member at the office, nor Dr Vandale and I've been going there a long time. I'm 57 yrs old and my teeth have needed the special care he's given me.

About Front Desk: All the personnel at the front desk have performed excellently over the many years I've been to this practice (even before Dr Vandale took it over from Dr Ray).

About Hygienist: All the hygienists that have cleaned my teeth (and there have been a few) have done an excellent job.

Dr Vandale took impressions, fabricated and expertly installed my upper dentures. The entire process went according to his stated plan. Everything was done expertly and carefully. His office staff was outstanding as well. Anyone who does not like Dr Vandale or his staff needs to look introspectively at themselves and their ungrateful demeanor.

After my 9yr old was injured in an accident and broke her front permanent tooth - late night on a holiday weekend none the less - a friend recommended Dr. Van Dale. He was prompt to return my call, super friendly and accommodating. He offered to see her that weekend but out of caution we waited until the swelling went down and he worked us in first thing Monday morning. He was EXTREMELY gentle, caring - did not treat my scared child like a baby but wasn't so "about business" that it was like an adult - he gave her a level of care and patience and told her that even if we take all day long to go slow and gentle - and somehow we knew he meant it - his concern is completely with the patient he is with and not about churning out numbers. The office staff is professional - feels more like a spa than a scary dentist office environment. He's a bit out of our way but he will always be our first choice and highest recommendation because of this experience.

Good Dentist that only recommends work required to keep your mouth healthy.

About Hygienist: They have the best Dental Hygiene group in Tulsa. Jan Minor, RDH has been there for 25 years and continues to do great work; she started working for Dr. Ray in the early 80s and continues to deliver patient satisfaction every day for Dr. Van Dale. Terry purchased the dental practice from Dr. Ray a few years ago. Jan is booked 9 months in advance so do not miss your appointment because it will take forever to get back on her schedule.

Dr VanDale is as good as they get. I've had 11 years of excellent care as have my 3 children. He also treated my sleep apena with an oral appliance. He stays on top of the latest developemnts but always has time to chat when I go in. He was recommended to me by another doc who selected him based on recommendations from insiders in the medical community. He is getting harder and harder to see so get established now while he is still open for new patients.

Excellent dentist in every respect. Has been the dentist for every member of my family. Very considerate of individual needs and excellent work.

His front desk receptionist named Bernie was extremely rude and not very welcoming. Her overall demeanor left much to be desired. Dr Van Dale was short with me. I felt like he was not listening to my concerns. He was somewhat rude to his assistants as well.
