I have been seeing Dr. O'Hara for years and I met Dr. Clark yesterday I was a little apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised! Both of the Dr.s are top tier.

I was a patient of Dr. O'Hara for four years in the 1990's. Before I saw him, I had never had a filling in my life. Since I left him in 1994, I have had one filling. During the four years I was his patient, I had eight fillings. I now openly wonder if he was drilling into perfectly good teeth in order to line his own pockets. Dr. O'Hara was disciplined by the Oregon Board of Dentistry in 2010 for "unacceptable patient care". I suspect I was one of his earliest victims.

I have been to several dentists over the years and without exception Dr. O'Hara and his staff have been the finest that I have experienced. Dr. O'Hara is very professional, does excellent work and cares very much about the health of his patient. His staff make me feel very comfortable and cared about. There is an apparent real team concept in his practice. My experiences so far have been great. I have never had to wait for more than 5 minutes for any appointment. Dr. O'Hara discussed with me various options available for the problems I have had with my teeth. I chose to have the extractions and am now in the process of having the implants. He made sure I understood the procedures and obviously cares about my comfort level and has gone over the potential costs of the procedures well in advance so that I could make informed decisions. I cannot emphasize enough how confident I am in his skills and the rest of his staff. I would recommend him without hesitation and have in fact shared my feelings with friends and relatives.

About Front Desk: The front office staff, Kelly, as well as the rest of the staff are very helpful at all times and provide excellent and friendly service. I could not ask for better help and cooperation in scheduling appointments and helping with insurance.

About Hygienist: Jody is an excellent hygienist from my experiences. I can say that she is tops among the various ones I have had over the years. She is very friendly but maintains professionalism at all times. Her cleanings have been gentle yet thorough and I always leave feeling that my teeth are clean.

Dr O'hara has been my family's dentist since moving to Eugene in 1990. I had some very bad experiences with dentists before that and was nervous to go. He and his staff were very caring and very understanding of my concern. They have taken good care of my family ever since. I would recommend them very highly.

About Hygienist: Amazing! I have very sensitive teeth, but do not feel nervous in the chair at all. I am treated very gently, and always feel my mouth is clean when I leave.

Mark O'Hara was formally disciplined in 2010 by the Oregon Board of Dentistry nine times for "unacceptable patient care" since 2005 (http://obd.oregonlookups.com/). During my visit, he was rushed, aloof and dismissive; he also misdiagnosed my dental needs. Really, just a bad overall dentist.
