I am afraid of the Dentist. I am a past Dental assitant. I found Dr James Edwards at a Dental study club. I went in when I had a Crwon that keep falling off. I informed him I was a gagger and exremly afraid fo dental work as I had a mean dentist in the past that was very angry , rough non caring and cold. He said to trust him and come on in. I did. I see over 600 dentist in my present job in Dental lab sales. I choose James Edwards as my dentist for life. He listens and delivers gentle awesome care. He is availble 24/7 foremergencies and returns calls promptly .

About Hygienist: Dr Edwards has two hygentist. Both are awesome. Awesome meaning Gentle and very educational and yet non judgemental.

I had been going to this dentist for a long time but what he did last time was not what i expected.He told me i had a cavity and i needed filing.He dug too deep which he was not supose to. I went through hell for 5 months.Couldn't chew from one side.My ears would hurt.My gums were swollen,my nervous were damaged.I went and saw another dentist and i wastold that my nervous were damaged and my dentist had dug too deep.My dentist put me on anibiotic last month and i still have the same issue. This time when i went to see him ,he said he can't take car of me and told me to go to another dentist (Endodontic)

I had a toothache I that kept putting off because I don't have insurance. The pain got to where I couldn't take it any longer. In these tough economic times the price of dental treatment plus the embaressment of the condition my teeth were in kept me from going to a dentist. I called 8 different dentist to get a price I could afford and Dr. Edwards understands the situation that we're are all in nowdays and worked with me so I could afford treatment. Don't let cost or embaressment keep you from calling Dr. Edwards. He and his staff are totally nonjudgmental and gave me the best dental experience I've ever had. I give them a Five Star pus rating. I was quoted a price for my dentures and that it would include a reline after they had healed. I went back and had them relined and was never told at the appointment that I would be billed for this service. They did the procedure and then billed me $388.62 I was thinking that it must be a mistake however upon going in to dispute the bill they said that they were not taking this amount off. To top it all off I can't even wear the dentures because they are so poorly made.

very nice dentist, professional staff, Terry is a bit of a problem- that is the assistant he used. She talks too much and spends too much time trying to look cute for the DR and not enough time paying attention to what she is supposed to be doing

I don't think Dr Edwards knows what he's doing. He pulled a tooth that I later found out did not need to be pulled and left me in a lot of pain, much like the other review I just read. Seems to be the theme here. Later, I found out he got in trouble with the dental board with 10 ALLEGATIONS against him, ranging from not treated gum disease to doing unnecessary treatment. He had to go through some mentoring (basically go back to school and learn more of what he doesn't already know) program, pay a hefty fine, pay back a bunch of insurance companies for fraud and take a bunch of extra classes on top of all that. Is this enough reason for you to NOT go here? How did this guy ever get his license to practice? HORRIBLE person. I left as soon as I found out about this.

I went into see Dr Edwards for a routine filling. Terry was a very rude assistant, rushing me during file filling so I couldn't get a fit for my teeth. She was not careful in the least when holding the water and suck instruments. I had to return for the fillings to be filed down further. I was treated by the staff as if I did something wrong when in fact they are the ones who talk about patients opening behind the front desk and care very little for how they interact with patients. Again the fillings did not get filed down correctly. I have zero faith in Dr Edwards and sought out a new dentist. Fillings has been filed down correctly the way it SHOULD have been done the first time. I will never go back to this bottom of the class dr and rude staff that he employs.

Where as Dr Edwards himself is a nice guy his staff are very unprofessional. Terri caused an unnecessary need to return for a second visit to correct a simple filling that wasn't filed down enough during the initial visit. She works front desk and also assists Dr Edwards during procedures. Not only did she rush me through the 2 fillings but was uncaring in how she handled the water rinse and suction equipment. Very disappointed, we will not be returning nor recommending his services largely due to how he allows staff to be inconsiderate.
