I received veneers from Dr. Mika and had an amazing experience! I have not liked my teeth or smile for years, and put off taking the time or money to fix the problem. I researched many Drs, and decided on Dr. Mika. I couldn't be happier!! Her #1 concern is the health of your teeth, and pleasing her patient! Her staff was amazing, and helped me with my desire to have a very natural smile. I am constantly complimented on my smile and teeth, and people are shocked that I have veneers, as Dr Mika uses the top labs in the country to help fit your needs and wants! I highly recommend Dr. Mika!!!

I have been with Dr. Mika for over 6 years. She is great and so is her hygienist, Marjan. The only problems I have had with this office is the front desk staff. I do not receive clear explanations about my bills, and no one offers to have the hygienist or dentist talk to me for clarification on the charges. I feel like the front desk receptionist is not capable to answer essential billing questions.
About Hygienist: Marjan is a great hygienist. She is gentle on teeth and sensitive areas. I think she may be the best hygienist I have ever had.

Whatever you do, avoid this quack like the plague!!! She put in a crown using the less strong option KNOWING I grind my teeth. That crown broke in the FIRST WEEK. She replaced it (after a month of delays and excuses) with more sturdy material. Within 10 months THAT CROWN BROKE. Quality of work - below pathetic. Her assistants do 95% of the work and she comes in, does a little and then leaves within a minute or two. And she's EXPENSIVE. Plus her husband runs the office and "explains" your bill in terms an accountant couldn't figure out. WORST DENTIST IN OREGON!!! Buyer BEWARE!

I agree with review #6, this dentist rambled off a list of things (in a very nice way) I should have done, there was no suggested priority...it was pretty much, "get this done". I was very annoyed with this and the manner in which all the negative things were presented one on top of another. Having not had good dental experiences in the past it was not a pleasant experience either. I went to this dentist because it looked relaxing and stress-free, which are my biggest concerns.
I did think the dentist was very good at explaining things, but at the same time a bit overwhelming with information. Don't get me wrong, Dr. Mika seems like a great person and very nice and professional, but I just felt something was missing from the experience. The office was very nice as it is in all their pictures online.
About Hygienist: Seemed nice, but tipped my chair REALLY FAR BACK. It seemed less about my comfort and more about just getting her job done the easiest way possible. To her credit, she did seem very nice.

Just had to write about my experience with Dr. Mika. She is a fantastic dentist - extremely thorough and knowledgeable, touch as light as you can imagine, and wonderful chairside manner. Dr. Mika placed veneers for me in my front teeth not too long ago. I'm a graphic designer with an eye for detail and I absolutely love my smile.

Haven't had any problems, service has been relatively good. My one curiosity: different hygenists on seemingly every visit (as well as working interviews the past 3)--is there something I should know? (why can't they keep a hygenist around?)

very good work...the only problem is, each time that I am going there, they always find new problems with my teeth, and I am asking myself....is it for real or do they try to make money on me??

I visited Dr Mika for a crown which came off. After numerous
visits and a lot of money I still have the crown on, barely and
will have to seek out an endodontist to do an implant, which
should have been the focus immediately. The focus became
redoing my entire mouth with veneers but I still have a loose
crown. Her last advise to me was not to floss there and to
wear a invisilign devise which was made for me. I'm quite
disappointed.

The Doctor is friendly and knowledgable. She does not help you prioritize treatment. According to her you should get everything done as soon as possible. There seems to be a pressure to buy services. The hygiene staff has been good, but it's never the same person twice. I don't know if they are quitting or getting fired. The office staff seems disorganized and overwhelemed, even if I am the ony patient and there is one phone call. Payment after treatment can sometimes take longer than it needs to as office staff fiddle with their computer. The design of the space is nice, if a little pretentious for a dentist's office.
