Dr. Shaw was recommended to me by a friend and I am grateful every time I go into his office. He is one of the very best dentists out there. He is patient, informative and takes time to explain everything he is going to do and why. He has no problem saying he doesn't know which is something many health care providers have difficulty with. He listens to his patients and has even come in on his day off to care for me when he wasn't on call. I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff.

A happy Dr. Shaw customer for over 20 years, I've recommended Dr. Shaw to a number of people. Dr. Shaw goes out of his way to help you help yourself to a healthy mouth.

Dr. Shaw and his staff have gone out of their way on every visit to make sure I not only understand the procedures, but also to make both my husband and me comfortable. They are friendly, knowledgeable and always do their best to make all procedures pain free. I would recommend Dr. Shaw to anyone in the Portland area looking for a dentist. On occasions where we had to have work done that required sedation or anesthesia, Dr. Shaw has called personally to check on us and make sure that we are on the mend and answer any questions we might have about recovery. I only have $1000 of medical coverage, so I have to pay out of pocket every visit, but the cost is worth the service and end results.
